The Cottages
Ripon Cottage dates back to 1890's when Ballarat was in the midst of the gold Rush. Purchased in the 1990's by current hosts it has been carefully restored and renovated so as not to lose any of the original character and appeal. Yet providing the guest with modern facilities including A/C and central Heating to create a cosy relaxed getaway or family meeting place.
Mays cottage dates back to the 1940's and was transported to Ballarat some time prior. Purchased in the early 2000's it has been completely renovated while still keeping in with the cosy cottage feel.
Both cottage are surrounded by beautifully upkept gardens that are perfect for a relaxing in after a day out exploring all that the Goldfields region has to offer.
